Christ Family Assembly Outreach, Uk celebrated its 21st anniversary at Swanley in grand style on the 23rd of July 2023.
The occasion which was hosted by Pastor Richard Opedare and his wife Pastor Mrs Jumoke Opedare was graced by the Deputy Mayor of Kent, Cllr Daniel Adewale King among other Church dignitaries which included Pastor David Goriola, Dr George Kalu, and Pastor Dr David Soile.
The Church Choir started the service with heartwarming Christian songs which was followed by uplifting testimonies from the church’s members. There were then some artistic presentations from various departments in the church including the Children and Youths Choirs and the Church’s Ushers.
The sermon was presented by Dr David Soile. He started by praying for God’s anointing and guidance for all the visitors, guests and members of the church and took us down memory lane as to how we got to the church’s present site.
He reminded us that some ministries that started at the same time as Christ Family Assembly have folded up and pointed out that even some of the ones that started last year have not fared so well.
He recollected that we have experienced many blessings and successes in our church and that we believe in the power of prayer and the importance of faith in our endeavours. He said it is through the guidance and grace of God that we must attribute our achievements.
He noted that we should be grateful for the support and prayers of our Senior Pastor Richard Opedare, as well as for the love of God that has sustained us this past twenty one years.
He rounded up the sermon praying that we understand it’s essence which is that God is there all the time, that we need to go with him, and that it shall go well with us as God neither sleeps nor slumbers. He ended by praying that nothing will separate us from God.
