January 1, 2023

Welcome to the month of January 2023

Happy New Year to you all.

“ARISE & SHINE” Isaiah 60:1

As the year 2022 has come to a close, let us take a moment to reflect on the past year and all that has happened. We have been fortunate to experience the power of God in many different and amazing ways. In addition, we are grateful for the series of opportunities, breakthroughs, favour, promotion and the special grace of our eternal Father that we are enjoying day in, day out.

Looking back on the past year or years, we have been through ups and downs; we have experienced disappointments both collectively or as individuals. Nevertheless, our God is so good that we are not consumed. But we are confident that we can continue to achieve greater things together in the future. 1 John 5:14 says; “This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us”.

Isaiah 60:1 says: “Arise, shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” As the Bible instructs us to arise, either you are sitting down, stuck and standing on the same spot, crawling, walking or running, this year things will be different.

You will be lifted up higher, your star will shine brighter and you shall move to the next level of greatness. You will be healed and be cured of your sickness because the glory of the Lord shall be risen upon you in a greater dimension. Your indefinite stay in UK shall be granted. Get ready for the new wave of God, because things shall get better.

Earthly security is uncertain, but God’s faithfulness and mercies endures forever. Therefore, begin to trust more in the Lord, obey His commandments and spend more time praising God as you begin the journey of this new year 2023. In this year, make all effort to be at peace with all people.

Hebrew 12: 14 says; Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

Psalm 30:1-5 says; “I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me. 2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. 3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the grave. 4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 5 For his anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.

I declare and decree that your moment of joy has come, your moment of unusual favour has come, your year of abundant blessings, peace and healing has come in Jesus Christ mighty name.

Blessings

Pastor Richard Opedare
