Welcome to the month of June 2023.
The Bread of Life. John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life…”
Happy new month. Glory be to God, we all made it into the 6th month of the year. We will progress steadily and keep moving higher in Jesus Christ mighty name.
One of the titles of our Lord Jesus Christ is the bread of Life. What you eat is very important. It is commonly said, “You are what you eat.” In other words, what you eat has a way of determining what you will become. The most common food to both the poor and the rich is bread and this is global.
During the temptation of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 4:3-4, “Jesus answered, it is written, Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” This described two types of bread; the physical and the spiritual.
The spiritual bread is meant to sustain the spirit. Just as everyone needs (the physical bread) food to live daily, so also do Christians need God’s word (the bread of life) to sustain and live a successful and prosperous life.
Joshua 1:8 says, “Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful”.
I pray that as you begin the journey of this new month, you will focus more on the word of God. You will make more effort to feed on the bread of life and you will become more successful and prosperous on a daily basis.
As the sun shines and is visible for all to see, so shall the glory of God be upon your life.
In this new month, your joy shall be complete, victory songs will not cease from your mouth.
Each new day will bring you closer to the fulfilment of your dreams.
I pray that this month of June will bring you more joy, gladness, laughter and fun than ever before.
